In futures prop industry the best account choice is 50k usd with no daily drawdown. It iş not logical to choose big size accounts in any manner . Besides being funded is just the first part of the journey. Pro traders as YT channel owner should speak about withdraws not being funded…

Trailing drawdown is in my opinion the worst boundry for trader. I prefer EOD DD instead, more trader friendly…

The trader who uses futures prop firms should not use rithmic data. Sierra chart data is great. Just close market data of rithmic and use Sierra chart data instead. Quick solution.

Risk control means everything regardless of strategy. AVWAP is to my style a lagging indicator and if I use it then it is to make a counter trade / reversal, which I often do, I use it as a target.

This is gold.

ICT does have his mental moments where he goes nutso and its hard to follow, and maybe he hasnt proven he himself is the greatest trader of all time, but... the concepts do work. Whether you dont like HIM or not, the concepts function.

Absolutely correct. Most people believe they can trade, but they have no "mechanical" edge and they can not control their risk. This is why they believe that psychology is a big part of trading, but it is NOT.

Their trailing dd means even skilled traders have to get lucky unfortunately to survive initially.

Overtrading habits are hard to notice at first. I like to think of not trading as the null hypothesis and placing a trade as the alternate hypothesis. You really need a good amount of evidence to reject the null and it takes experience to get better at it.

so I can get a Seirra charting without hooking it to my broker? I use Ninja charting and Ninja broker and will still place trades in ninja ...and like to look at volume in real time on Sierra...so I will need another data feed? .... meaning. can I have Seirra and data feed without a broker? I get so lost, my broker use to provide Seirra, but I prefer trading on ninja charts...but need better profile and volume data showing inside the bar.
